Movie Review: “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”

To begin this review, I suppose I should give you some backstory regarding my opinion of the Potter franchise in its various forms. I first read the first three books when I was home sick from school one day and bored. Yes, I read all three straight through in one day. The next day I read “Goblet of Fire”, at the time the latest one out. I enjoyed them all greatly. Not on the same level as Tolkien, but they were very fun reads, filled with a very charming British wit. It’s no secret that I love almost any form of British humor, and I think that’s what really attracted me to the books. The characters were also very fun. As the series went on, the stories got progressively darker, yet they were still filled with a lot of fun lighthearted moments. To summarize, I like the Potter books a lot, although I’m not as obsessed as some people, such as my brother. Continue reading
