So. After over a decade, the Blitzstravafornia is finally coming out.
What can you expect?
Well, of course you can expect my opinions about attractions at several Southern California theme parks. But that’s not all.
You can expect the same kind of dry jokes and arbitrary references you remember from Dave Does Disney and the original Blitzstravaganza. And the jokes have only gotten even more inexplicable!
You can expect a handful of jokes that were actually topical when I wrote them at various points over the past decade, and way more jokes that were already extremely dated when I wrote them.
You can expect some references to the day job I had at the time I started the series, which I mercifully do not have anymore. (My current day job is also referenced but not in the context of me working there.)
You can expect to see a massive difference from shot to shot in my hair length, my facial hair length, and my weight. What can I say, time changes us all.
You can expect a reference to every single Obsession of the Moment and D-List topic at some point in the series. (Not necessarily a reference to every single D-List ENTRY, but a reference to at least ONE entry from every episode.)
You can expect to see cameos from a lot of my funny friends. I’m grateful to all of them for indulging in my silliness.
You can expect some of the most self-indulgent stuff I’ve ever done. Yes, even more so than the Tolkien Character Support Group sketch.
Most of all, you can expect to see something that I wanted to make. It took a lot longer than I wanted, but I’m happy with it, and I hope you enjoy it too.
